March 2018 I was one of twenty five selected by the Puma design team to modify the iconic Puma Suede. My customisation of the classic design in the display window of the Puma’s flagship London store and will soon be transported to Germany to be displayed at Puma’s HQ.

The upper of the trainer has carefully been covered in made to measure sections of millinery fishnet and adorned with teddy bear like eyes. The almost eerie eye embellishments have been adorned with a set of eyelashes, coated in acrylic to achieve a white to red ombre effect.

I embellished the laces by using a simple zig zag stitch to further enhance the lattice like pattern of the lace placement. My lace tip and the application of my signature on the vamp of the design were my final touches to what I feel is a customisation that reflects the creative nature of the Puma brand.
